This policy explains what information FilingsAtlas ("we", "us") collects when you use this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. You can use FilingsAtlas without an account. We do not process payments and do not knowingly collect personal information beyond what is described below.

Information we collect

We do not ask you to create an account or provide personal information to browse company financials. We do collect information in three situations:

• Automatically, via cookies and similar technologies — described in "Cookies & analytics" below.
• If you create an optional account — described in "Accounts & watchlist" below.
• When you submit the feedback form — the name, email address, and message you choose to provide are sent to and stored by our form processor, Formspree, so we can respond to you. See Formspree's own privacy policy for how they handle that data.

Cookies & analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, approximate location, device/browser type) so we can improve it. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar identifiers to do this.

On your first visit a cookie pop-up asks you to accept or reject these cookies. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, analytics and advertising cookies are only set after you accept. Elsewhere, analytics cookies are enabled by default and advertising cookies are only set after you accept; choosing "Reject" turns analytics off too. If you reject, the site works the same. You can change your choice at any time — see "Your choices" below.

The cookies involved are Google Analytics cookies (names starting with _ga, kept for up to two years) and Google advertising cookies (such as __gads, __gpi and _gcl_au, kept for up to 13 months). If you reject after having accepted, we delete the ones already stored on this site.

Separately from cookies, the site keeps a few settings in your browser's own storage: your cookie choice, your light or dark theme, and, if you sign in, your sign-in session. These are needed for the site to work as you set it and do not require consent.

Advertising

We use Google AdSense to show ads on this site. If you accept cookies, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. If you reject, any ads shown are not personalised. You can control ad personalization directly through Google at adssettings.google.com, and learn more about how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Accounts & watchlist

Creating an account is optional and only needed to save a watchlist. If you sign up with an email address and password, or sign in with Google, your email address (and, with Google sign-in, your name and profile picture as provided by Google) and the companies you add to your watchlist are stored with Google Firebase, which runs our sign-in and database. We use this only to sign you in and show your watchlist; we do not use it for advertising or share it with anyone else. To delete your account and its data, email us at the address under "Contact".

Financial data

Company financial statements shown on this site are sourced from public filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC EDGAR). This is public company data, not personal information about you.

Your choices

• Cookie settings: choose "Accept" or "Reject" when the cookie pop-up appears. To change your choice later, use the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of any page, or this button: Change cookie settings
• Browser settings: most browsers let you block or delete cookies; doing so may affect how parts of the site work.
• Google Ads Settings: manage ad personalization across Google services at adssettings.google.com.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
